Aftershock: Shaking a Generation for Christ
Whitehorse AfterShock was formed late in the summer of 2005 and we have been having a blast ever since. We average about 15 youth each week. There are usually 4-5 adults out as well.
We believe that God created everyone equal, that He sent His Son to save us, and that we need to show our devotion to Him by loving God and each other. This group was not formed for only “churched” kids but for everyone. We believe that through acceptance and a growing knowledge of God’s saving grace, all youth can ask Jesus to be their personal saviour. We are all searching for something and we will only find it by finding God. |

A: AfterShock is for all youths in high school. Q: Do I have to go to church to attend this youth group? A: Although we love to see youth coming out to church on Sunday mornings, it is not a requirement. Q: Does AfterShock have a Facebook group? A: Yes! A: AfterShock usually takes place every Friday night, but occasionally some events may take place on Saturday afternoon or evening. It's always a good idea to check the website for details!
